Although the iPad 2 is still two days away from being available, Apple has just released its latest version of iOS. You can now update your iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3rd & 4th generation and original iPad to iOS 4.3.
To update, simply connect your device to your computer using the sync cable and click on “Check for Update” in iTunes.
The new update brings quite a few improvements:
AirPlay enchancements – you can now stream video (in addition to music, movies and photos) using AirPlay to a big screen. You can even stream enabled apps and websites.
Improved Safari browser performance – with a new JavaScript engine websites become more responsive and interactive features appear faster.
iTunes home sharing – you can play your entire iTunes library (including videos) from anywhere in your house on your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch over Wi-Fi.
Customizable iPad side switch – the switch can now be customized to either mute the volume or lock screen rotation.
Personal hotspot for the iPhone 4 – an iPhone only feature, you can now share you cellular data connection with any other Wi-Fi device, so you will only need one wireless plan for all your devices (unfortunately this option must first be enabled by your carrier).
